2006 Kona Coffee Culture Festival

Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort hosts two days of java-laced dining, art and international cupping competition, November 8 & 9, 2006

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I’m going to miss it by 5 Months. November 8th – 9th at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort. April is when I’ll be in Hawaii for a much needed family vacation (I plan to squeeze in some Kona Coffee Culture painting in-between surfing and rum!

2006 Kona Coffee Culture Festival will feature professional island chefs ‘brewing” up culinary cuisine with 100% Kona coffee as an ingredient. Cupping contests pitting the nations’s top Kona Coffee farmers against each other for the honor of the finest beans.

The infinitely cool event is the festivals Gevalia Coffee Art Exhibit featuring original works that feature and/or have been inspired by Kona Coffee!

The Kona Coffee Culinary Invitational and other coffee-inspired activities taking place at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort are part of the Big Island's Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, Hawaii's oldest food event, scheduled for November 3 to 12, 2006.
