The First International Multi-Coffee Artist Show?!

The time has come! I’ve started contact other coffee artists mentioned in this blog to see about setting up a couple multi-coffee artist shows. The first of which is being organized by Deborah Vahanian of Glass Growers Gallery in Erie, PA (my home town). The second show would be Seattle in the spring or summer of 2007.

Contacted so far are Karen Eland of coffee-art.com, Sabah Al-Dhaher of Seattle and aldhaher.net, Angel Sarkela-Saur& Andy Saur of Duluth, MN and justcoffeeart.com, and Amita – Mira Chudasama of India (I believe) and artandpainting.net. So far all have responded except for the Saurs. Karen and Mira have expressed interest in the shows and Sabah’s current sculpture commitments will unfortunately keep him from participating for now.

The first show in Erie, PA, organized by Deborah Vahanian would be August 4th through September 12th 2006 at the Moonsense Café. I’m told it is a great place for art, performance and food (they could use a new web site though). More information on this show will be posted here and on nosuchanimal.net, my web site.

The second show in Seattle, WA, organized by me (Ezju), will take place in late spring or early summer of 2007. Venue will be decided once I’ve a more solid idea of how many artists will be involved and how many pieces will be on display. The dates will solidify as time grows closer too. Again more information on this show will be posted here and on nosuchanimal.net.

So far we have three coffee artist lined up, that’s a good start! More coffee artist will be contacted as I find their information and time.
